Fleet Technology Expo August 24 to 26, 2015

Automotive Fleet, Green Fleet and Heavy Duty Trucking magazines are introducing the first Fleet Technology Expo in Long Beach, California, Aug. 24-26.

FTX will focus on three specific tracks: Green Fleet, Fleet Analytics and Heavy Duty. This year’s FTX replaces the Green Fleet Conference & Expo traditionally held in October.

FTX is for all fleet types that are looking for ways to improve operational efficiencies. Educational sessions will cover topics ranging from how to turn telematics reports into actionable data to alternative-fuel topics, and ways other software, strategies and equipment can help a fleet streamline operations.

“It is important to stay up to date and focus on the biggest challenges that fleets are dealing with. Right now, optimizing efficiency is one of the biggest challenges,” said Sherb Brown, vice president and group publisher for the magazines’ publisher, Bobit Business Media.

“Alternative-fuel adoption is important, but it is only one piece to the puzzle when it comes to making your fleet more efficient,” Brown said.

There will still be alternative fuels content in the Green Fleet track, which focuses on challenges and success stories in using and funding natural gas, propane, electric and other fuel technologies.
